Randleman JV Football Takes Down Southwestern Randolph 35-7

Randleman's junior varsity football team takes down a willing Southwestern Randolph team tonight at Tiger stadium.

35-7

The Randleman Tigers were the better team Thursday night beating the Cougars of Southwestern Randolph 35-7. The Tigers started on the first play of the game with a reverse pass play for a 60 yard TD.

The Cougars seem to have gotten started a few times by pounding the ball down the field with their running game, only to turn the ball over. The Cougars ended up turning the ball over 4 times on the night & Randleman capitalized on those turnovers.

The final stats for the Cougars were 1 TD on 223 total yards of offense. The leaders for Southwestern Randolph were RB Rae Hoskie who accounted for over half of the yards with 29 carries for 145 yards 1 TD & TE Hunter Allred had 2 catches for 27 yards. The Cougars travel to Wheatmore next Thursday.
