Trinity took on Southern Guilford tonight in their last matchup before heading into conference play. The Bulldogs faced a tough challenge against a very talented and athletic Southern Guilford team.
The Storm received the opening kickoff and scored on their second play on a 45 yard pass play. The Southern Guilford offense continued to score early and often in the first half taking a 56-0 lead into the half.
The Trinity defense made some good adjustments at the half and held Southern Guilford to just 6 points in the 2nd half. The offense moved the chains better in the 2nd half, but were unable to put any points on the board. The Bulldogs continued to fight and play hard until the end of the game.
Southern Guilford defeated Trinity 62-0. Trinity will begin conference play next week at Randleman.
Tonight’s game was homecoming for Trinity. Hope Earnhardt was crowned the homecoming queen.
