Randleman hosted High Point Andrews in varsity football tonight. Tonight was also youth football league night at tiger stadium. The first and second half looked very promising for the tigers but numerous mistakes sealed their fate. They played a very hard hitting, athletic and quick HP Andrews team. Chris Allen and Jacar Green of Randleman played with all they had but Andrews knew they had to play harder. The tigers offense left countless missed oppurtunities on the field. Marquell Cartwright of HPA scored effortlessly against Randleman with three touchdowns. Two of those were back to back in the 1st. With a needed energy after halftime, Randleman came back defensively but was short lived. Score 27-10. Andrews wouldn't let anything happen for Randleman after the half. The momentum was gone for the tigers. Zach Dunbar left with 128 passing yards but with only one complete touchdown pass to Chris Allen to show for it. This was not the tigers team we have been seeing. Dunbar threw three deadly interceptions which could have been the downfall for Randleman. I believe in the end, it was Andrews that wanted the win more and would not let up for anything. Final Score 41-10.

"We made some bad decisions. We played well but we didn't make very big plays offensively. We had a good plan but we needed to adjust. We didn't adjust! We could not get it going. We struggled. Our quarterback played a great game and he deserves credit. We are a better team than that for sure. It's one of those days you just don't wanna have."- Coach Shane Handy, Randleman.
