Southwestern Randolph stays perfect in conference with MPC Tournament Championship win over Ledford.

In a rematch of last years MPC Tournament Championship Game, the Southwestern Randolph Cougars faced the Ledford Panthers at SWR. Southwestern came into the game with a perfect conference record of 11-0, Ledford came in with a 9-2 conference record with their two losses at the hands of the Cougars.

Ledford came out hot, working their way to a 9-1 lead on the Cougars on their way to a 25-14 victory and a 1-0 lead in the match. The second match started out right opposite with the Cougars pulling away to win by a final score of 25-16. The third and deciding sets were both close but both went the way of the Cougars by a score of 25-22 in each set, to give them the MPC Tournament Championship and an undefeated conference season.

Ledford will travel on Saturday to face a still un-named team, Southwestern will tentatively host Mt. Pleasant on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
