Randleman got back on track track after a loss last week and is now trying to catch a little fire before playoff time. Randleman will host Atkins next week at home for Senior week.
Randleman's Chris Allen lead the rushing attack with 69 yards on 16 carriers. The surprise of the night may of come from Todd Traxler with 72 hard earned rushing yards on 8 carries.
Juvall Mollette got his standard 1 TD and 78 yards. Mollette also had the catch that you see on the web-site. This young man is a great athlete and very fun to watch.
Devin Sands is a great second option to the offense as he runs the ball and can catch some passes. Devin finished with 1 run for 16 yards, and 5 recptions for 40 yards.
Quarterback Zach Dunbar was 16 for 26 with 141 yard passing, and also rushed for 11. On a Randleman team where everyone can get the ball, 8 players ran the ball tonight. Randleman had 338 total offensive yards.
Wheatmore did not have its best night tonight and was beaten on both sides of the ball. Wheatmore only collected 3 first downs and 40 total offensive yards. Wesley Helmandollar had 8 rushing yards and 10 recption yards, a total of 18 of the total 40 yards.
Coach Shane Handy "I think our defense played well tonight and gave us a chance to score early. They had a few fumbles that we were fortunate to take advantage and lead to scores." "I was very pleased when we were able to score before the half on a field goal. We needed that for several reasons. Allen Goslen needed a little confidence and we needed the points."
Lastly coach Handy did say he gets a little worked up when his team does not execute, "I just want to do things right and finish the game."
Congratulations to the Tigers on a win to secure third place in the PAC-6.
