ATMS wins over SERMS

SERMS traveled to Archdale-Trinity on Tuesday for their first game after spring break. TheWildcats took an early 1 to 0 lead in the top of the 1st with J. Moffitt reaching on a single and then scoring on a passed ball.

The Bulldogs took the lead in the bottom of the 1st with two runs. Rylan Smith and Robert Hales reached on an error and scored on a hit by Hunter Smith.

SERMS added two more runs in the 2nd inning with a solo homerun by C. Moffitt. P. Leonard reached on a walk and then scored on a passed ball. SERMS led 3 to 2. The Bulldogs tied the game at 3 with a run scored by Ben Owens, who reached on a walk and then scored on a passed ball.

The Bulldogs took a commanding lead in the next two innings. They scored two runs in the 3rd inning. Landen Mosley singled and scored on a passed ball. Harrison Moffitt walked and scord on a bases loaded walk. The 4th inning was the best inning at the plate for ATMS. Robert Hales singled and scored on a hit by Hunter Smith. Landen Mosley walked and scored on a hit by Dawson Payne. Pinch runner, Gavin Dennis, scored on a passed ball and then Harrison Moffitt capped off the inning with a solo homerun. ATMS took a 9 to 3 lead.

The Bulldogs went on to win 12 to 5. ATMS will travel to Uwharrie on Thursday. SERMS will travel to Southwestern Randolph.
