County wrestlers put on a show

The Courier Tribune’s 27th Wrestling Classic took place on Saturday and Randolph County wrestlers showed out in the event. The Uwharrie Charter Eagles claimed first place as a team after having twelve wrestlers place in the top three. The Eagles have five of the twelve top three finishers take home individual championships including Heaven Fitch who was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler on the day. Asheboro finished just a few points behind the Eagles and had 11 wrestlers make top three finishes.
