Mid-State Toyota “Athletes of the Week” Cameron Clark & Nic Swaim

The rain caused some issues this week, but teams and players were able to get in a couple games before the weekend. PAC-7 tennis teams met on Wednesday to participate in the conference tournament and one Randolph County doubles team took home first place. This week’s Mid-State Toyota “Athletes of the Week” are Providence Grove’s Cameron Clark and Nic Swaim.

Swaim and Clark have been strong members of the Providence Grove tennis team for the past three seasons. The two have teamed up for an 8-0 conference doubles record for the season. They capped off their conference season with their second straight conference tournament doubles title for a spot at regionals. Swaim and Clark have not lost a conference doubles match in the last three seasons at Providence Grove. Clark finished the season with a 5-1 singles record and was named the PAC-7 Player of the Year, while Swaim finished with a 6-2 singles record for the season.

Congratulations to Cameron Clark and Nic Swaim on being named this week’s Mid-State Toyota “Athletes of the Week”!
