Two more Randleman Tigers inked their names on letters of intent on Friday as Tyson Green and Umar Abdul-Matin decided to continue their football careers at Fayetteville State University.

Green was a dual threat for the Tigers this season as an outside linebacker and a wide receiver. On the offensive side of the ball he finished with 836 receiving yards and 112 rushing yards. Defensively, he made 72 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, and 1 caused fumble. He was named a PAC-7 All-Conference selection and an All-County selection.

Abdul-Matin led the Tigers as a punt returner and a corner. He picked up 313 all-purpose yards this season and made 60 tackles. He came away with 4 interceptions, 16 pass deflections and 1 blocked punt. He too was a PAC-7 All-Conference and All-County selection.

The Broncos of Fayetteville State University are getting two great players and we wish them the best of luck!

Congratulations Tyson and Umar on this outstanding accomplishment!
