Eastern Randolph at Jordan-Matthews Softball

The Lady Wildcats of Eastern Randolph fell 8-6 to conference foe Jordan-Matthews on Friday. Eastern Randolph trailed 2-1 after the first inning, but scored four runs in the second for a 5-3 lead over the Jets. Jordan-Matthews scored two runs in both the third and fourth innings to retake the lead at 7-5. The Wildcats cut the lead to one in the top of the fifth with a run, but the Jets scored in the bottom of the sixth to push the lead back to two. Shyanne Gay and Brooklyn Rush each went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Wildcats, while Courtnee Carter went 1-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.
