Randleman at North Johnston Baseball State Playoffs Rd 3

The Randleman Tigers advanced to their seventh straight 4th round state playoff appearance on Tuesday as they defeated North Johnston 5-1 in round three. The Tigers took a 1-0 lead after the second inning after Noah Strickland crossed home plate. A second run was added in the third as Ramsey Petty scored off a hit from Gunnar Gantt. After a run from North Johnston in the fourth, the Tigers scored three runs in the fifth. Bailey Welch picked up the pitching win after striking out 8 batters and giving up just 5 hits. The Tigers will face top seeded South Granville on Friday.
