Randleman vs Trinity Men’s Basketball

It was a perfect ending for the seniors of Randleman as they defeated the Trinity Bulldogs 75-67 on Friday night during senior night. The Tigers have had an up and down season, but to end your regular season home schedule with a win over Trinity could give them the momentum they need heading into the final week of the season. Randleman lost to the Bulldogs earlier this season, but a 19 point lead at the half helped them top the Bulldogs. The Tigers led by as many as 22 in the second half, until Trinity started to go on some runs.

By the end of the third, Trinity had cut the lead to 16. The Bulldogs cut the lead to eight with ten second left after a three from Hunter Neal, but time ran out before the Bulldogs could get any further. Randleman (3-5, 11-9) was led by Tyson Green who finished with 16 points off the bench. Trent Lineberry chipped in 14, while Cyle Cassidy finished with 13. Chase Johnson led the Bulldogs (4-4, 12-10) with 20 points, while Dalton Moncus and Nate Byers each finished with 13.
