Trinity at Jordan-Matthews Football

The Trinity Bulldogs picked up their first PAC-7 win of the season with a 35-28 win over the Jordan-Matthews Jets on the road. After a scoreless first quarter, the Jets outscored the Bulldogs 14-7 in the second quarter. Trinity scored their first touchdown with under a minute to play in the second quarter. The Bulldogs tied the game at 14 all with eight minutes to play in the third quarter, but Jordan-Matthews would retake the lead with a touchdown of their own. At the end of the third quarter, Trinity trailed 21-14.

The Bulldogs tied the game again this time at 21-21 with eight minutes to play in the fourth quarter. With two minutes remaining, Trinity took their first lead of the night at 28-21. The Bulldogs would get some separation with about a minute to go as they scored their final touchdown of the night for a 35-21 lead. Jordan-Matthews would score with under a minute to play, but it was not enough to top the Bulldogs. Trinity moves to 1-2 in conference play and 4-4 on the season.
