Trinity’s Wagner signs with NC State

Trinity High School’s Kelli Wagner signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at NC State University on Thursday afternoon. Wagner has excelled on and off the field during her time at Trinity. In the classroom, she has a 4.48 GPA during her first three years at Trinity. On the softball field for the Bulldogs, she has been named All-Conference, All-County, and Team MVP all three seasons.

When she is not playing softball for the Bulldogs she is a member of the Lady Lightning Gold travel softball team. During 2017, her travel team placed 3rd in the Canada Cup and 5th in the Triple Crown Fireworks in Colorado. She is ranked #103 on the national softball prospects list and #44 on the Flo Softball website.
